All through Rihanna‘s career, she’s given us music non-stop. She basically released an album every year since her debut, but there’s been no RiRi album since November 2012 (Unapologetic). She’s on the verge of releasing another one (you know it’s just gonna be a surprise one morning), and the first single, “FourFiveSeconds”, is one of the best tracks of 2015.
Before we get to hear her album, she’s giving us a few songs on the soundtrack for Home, an animated film that she also supplies her voice for one of the characters. I wasn’t a big fan of “Towards The Sun”, but these two new tracks are stellar. “As Real As You And Me” is a piano ballad that will remind you of her hit “Stay”. “Dancing In The Dark” isn’t a Bruce Springsteen cover, but a fun, light track that will get you moving. I don’t think that sound would have worked for her album (she’s clearly going in a different direction on her own album), but this is perfect for a movie soundtrack.
