She’s still busy promoting her own album, Bangerz (and trying to figure out what the next single will be), but Miley Cyrus is the featured artist on another 2 tracks. First up is The Future‘s “Real and True” that also features Mr Hudson. Miley teamed up with The Future on the pretty “My Darlin’” for her own album, and this very much has the same feel. It’s not as good as “My Darlin’” (that one had the added benefit of sampling “Stand By Me”), but this is a decent R&B slowjam complete with autotune.
“Real and True” sounds incredible when compared to “Feeling Myself”. will.i.am is always hit and miss with his chaotic dance music, but he’s been missing the bullseye fairly often the last couple of years. Also featuring French Montana (who appeared on Miley’s bluesy track “FU”) and Wiz Khalifa, it’s a total mess of a pop track. Oh, and Miley raps about twerking and molly. Yawn.
